Small updates can have a big impact when it comes to campaign performance and data accuracy. Apptrove’s latest product release introduces two features designed to give marketers more control and transparency: VTA disable and organic event log visibility. Together, they simplify attribution, remove unnecessary noise, and ensure you always have a complete view of your traffic.
Say Goodbye to Unwanted Impression Traffic with VTA Disable
Not all traffic is created equal. And not every partner’s impression traffic is something you want to keep counting. That’s where the new VTA Disable option comes in.
From the Permissions tab, you now have the ability to stop any impression traffic for specific partners. Once enabled, here’s what happens:
- Impression-based traffic will not be recorded.
- No attributions will be made from impressions for that partner.
This update gives advertisers cleaner data by ensuring impression traffic doesn’t interfere with how campaigns are measured. For marketers who want more precision and control, it’s an easy but effective switch to flip.
Organic Data is Now Visible in Event Logs
Transparency matters. Up until now, organic traffic data was only available in reports, which sometimes left teams guessing in day-to-day troubleshooting.
With this release, organic data can now be seen directly in event logs. That means you no longer need to run full reports just to validate whether an event came from organic traffic. Instead, logs give you instant clarity, streamlining how you track and investigate user activity.
It’s a small change that makes the logs more complete, and gives you a fuller picture of what’s really happening across your campaigns. Here’s why this matters:
- Faster troubleshooting: Compare organic and paid activity in one place.
- Deeper insights: Understand how organic users behave alongside campaign-driven ones.
- Simplified workflows: No more toggling between logs and reports to see the full story.
By surfacing organic data in logs, you can spot trends faster, identify outliers, and make more informed decisions in real time.
Smarter Attribution, Fewer Blind Spots
While VTA disable and organic logs may address different needs, both updates work toward the same goal: giving you full control over attribution and visibility.
With VTA disable, you decide whether impressions should influence attribution. With organic logs, you gain clarity on how all traffic sources perform, not just paid campaigns.
The result is smarter, cleaner data that reflects the reality of your campaigns without the clutter of incomplete or inflated reporting.
We’re continuing to refine attribution in ways that put more control in your hands. These features are part of a broader effort to make sure Apptrove is not just a tool for tracking, but a platform that adapts to how marketers actually work.
Try out these updates, see how they fit into your workflow, and stay tuned because we’ve got more on the way.
