How Smart Script fixes attribution
Smart Script detects a visitor, dynamically generates the right link, and routes them to the correct store or directly opens your app, while carrying campaign IDs and parameters the whole way.
Two ways to run it (use one or both):
- Script-Based Setup: Add Smart Script via your tag manager (e.g., GTM) or even a normal configuration. It builds the app store URL based on incoming traffic and your configured attributes.
- Banner-Based Setup: Launch branded Smart Banners with embedded CTAs. Banners handle attribution mapping behind the scenes and can run alongside the base script.
Set it up in minutes
- In Engagement → Web-to-App, create a new Smart Script.
- Name it and choose the right Unilink template.
- Map parameters: pull from URL, set defaults, add override rules.
- Turn on Web Referrer Mapping to capture direct/organic sources.
