We just held an insightful agency workshop, partnered with Lodestar UM in their fantastic Mumbai office. It was an experience we will never forget!
Our Co-Founder & CMO, Udit Verma and Anchal Siwag, Associate Director of Customer Success, calmly took the lead in the workshop. To add to the vibe in the room, Shloka Shetty and Nikhil Kumar from our sales and marketing team contributed to the workshop full of excitement and clarity around Apptrove’s ad-tech capabilities.
This particular workshop was definitely not just a product pitch. It was designed to help agencies understand specifically how we can help them bridge the gap between their agency and performance marketing strategies, changing each of the complicated ad-tech features into practical, meaningful solutions that team planners could imagine immediately applying.
Why This Moment Mattered
Agencies are at the nexus of the execution of marketing; they manage multiple platforms, shifting budgets, and the unending quest for returns on performance-based investment (ROI). Our objective for this workshop was to create a forum where mobile marketing, campaign measurement, and tracking attribution models could come together for in-theatre planners.
Lodestar UM is a media darling and part of IPG Mediabrands and is known for connecting creativity to data; their “Full Colour Media” proposition is based on visibility, vibrancy, and variability to help with growth in the world dominated by AI. And the Mumbai office provided an excellent backdrop to experiment, probe, and hopefully, formulate instances of smarter outcomes.
Hands-On Learning That Resonated
What made the workshop special was its interactive flow. We walked attendees step-by-step through applying attribution on how to track app installs and user behavior across multiple touchpoints. We provided real-time data with automatic postbacks and demonstrated how agencies could make the most with the recent development of Apple’s SKAN 4.0 framework. Attributions, retargeting, and managing the scaling of campaigns amongst various countries and devices were also the part of discussion.
However, we did more than just present demonstrations; we aimed in the opposite direction and sought questions, listened to suggestions, and engaged each delegate in collaborative conversation. “This isn’t just about the features it is about the challenges agencies presently face.” Rui Verma reflected. And I could feel that mentality with each engagement.
The workshop was all about making space for questions, real scenarios, and client use cases. Attendees shared how they manage attribution today, what slows them down, and where they see opportunities for digital transformation. This created a genuine back-and-forth rather than a one-way presentation.
What We Gained—and So Did They
For the Lodestar UM team, the workshop offered hands-on clarity on how Apptrove’s platform could simplify their daily workflows, give them confidence in campaign measurement, and help their clients achieve stronger results. It wasn’t just theory — they could immediately see how our platform could improve efficiency and transparency in real-time.
For Apptrove, it was invaluable to hear directly from media planners, strategists, and agency leads. We gained fresh perspective into their agency workflows, reporting bottlenecks, and the increasing need for marketing technology that integrates seamlessly. Their candid feedback validated areas where we’re strong — like attribution and audience intelligence — and gave us ideas for where we can evolve.
Perhaps most importantly, the workshop deepened mutual trust. Instead of being just another tool provider, Apptrove was able to show up as a partner invested in agency innovation and long-term brand growth.

At the heart of this workshop was partnership. Sitting across the table, discussing real-world challenges, and exploring solutions together reinforced what we believe — that ad-tech succeeds only when it is rooted in people and relationships.
Workshops like this allow us to demonstrate not only the “how” of performance marketing but also the “why”: why attribution accuracy matters, why full-funnel visibility drives better planning, and why face-to-face agency training sessions are vital in today’s fragmented media ecosystem.
This wasn’t just a one-off initiative. It marks the beginning of a series of agency workshops across India. Each one will help us understand the unique needs of local markets, while enabling agencies to use Apptrove more effectively for their clients.
